SCCI
Empowering Growth and Unity Across Singhbhum, Kolhan, & Jharkhand
The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) has been at the heart of Jharkhand’s economic landscape since its founding in 1948. Officially registered under the Companies Act in 1950, SCCI represents the collective interests of trade, commerce, industry, and professionals in the Singhbhum region, including Kolhan. With a legacy rooted in the vibrant industrial city of Jamshedpur, SCCI has steadfastly supported the business community, fostering economic growth and social welfare for over seven decades.
With a robust membership of around 1,500 and an indirect reach that impacts over 175,000 people, SCCI is a cornerstone of Jharkhand’s economic framework. Its membership includes major industrial houses, such as Tata Steel and Tata Motors, and a diverse range of businesses that shape the region’s industrial landscape.
Our organizational structure is built on four dedicated wings, each led by a Vice President and supported by a Secretary, all of whom sit on the Executive Committee. These wings are:
Enhancing community engagement and welfare initiatives across Singhbhum and Kolhan.
Strengthening the foundations of regional trade and commercial growth.
Supporting the industrial ambitions of Jharkhand, with a focus on sustainable development.
Navigating financial advocacy and fostering a conducive environment for economic policies.
The Chamber continues to be a beacon of support and opportunity for Singhbhum and Kolhan’s business community, contributing to the sustained growth and prosperity of Jharkhand. SCCI is committed to a future of economic development, professional collaboration, and regional progress.
