

A delegation representing Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry had the privilege of meeting the Honorable Lok Sabha Speaker, Shri Om Birla, at the Parliament House in Delhi. During the meeting, the delegation extended an invitation to the upcoming Platinum Jubilee celebration organized by Singhbhum Chamber. The Honorable Lok Sabha Speaker graciously accepted the invitation and assured the delegation of his presence at the event.
During the visit, the esteemed Minister of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, Shri Arjun Munda, was also present. The information was jointly provided by President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorable Secretary Manav Kedia.
President Shri Moonka described the meeting as a courteous interaction where the delegation apprised the Honorable Lok Sabha Speaker about the Singhbhum Chamber and presented a brief overview of its illustrious 75-year history. Upon hearing this, Shri Om Birla praised the Chamber and graciously accepted the invitation.
Subsequently, the Chamber delegation also met with Shri Piyush Goyal, Honorable Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Government of India, at the Commerce Building in Delhi. During the meeting, discussions revolved around establishing major industries and businesses in Kolhan, setting up automobile companies, and addressing issues related to the industrial sector. The Honorable Minister attentively listened to all the points raised and assured appropriate actions.
Chamber Delegation Meets Civil Aviation Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia
Due to the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19 infection in Civil Aviation Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Chamber delegation met with his able secretary, Shri Abhinav Pratap Singh, at the Civil Aviation Ministry. They discussed the need for a central government intervention for an airport in Jamshedpur, stressing the importance of joint efforts from both the central and state governments.
The delegation was led by President Vijay Anand Moonka and Honorable Secretary Manav Kedia.
